Muttar Paneer

Ingredients
About 2 cups paneer, cubed
2-3 ripe tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup tomato puree
1 cup boiled peas
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp turmeric
A few sprigs of coriander for garnish
Salt to taste
1 tbsp honey
1/2 cup cream
To be Grounded into a Paste
2-3 cloves
1 inch ginger root, peeled and chopped
2-3 green chillies (or as per taste)
1 tbsp cashews
1 tbsp poppy seeds
1 tsp cumin
Fry the paneer cubes until golden brown. Remove and drop them in a bowl of water. This way the excess oil floats to the top and the paneer also gets soft. Remove and set aside.
In a skillet add 1/2 tsp oil and add the ground paste to it. Once the raw smell is replaced by the aroma add the onions and saute for 3-5 min till they get soft.
Add the tomatoes and stir until soft. Then add the puree, peas, cream, honey and the spices and stir for another 5 min. You can add water if you prefer gravy consistancy.
When it starts boiling, add the Paneer and cook for another 5-10min. Serve warm garnished with coriander.
